>I know about the old ISRUN utility, but is there now a better way to use BINDEVENTs to Windows events to see if an instance of a VFP EXE is running, activate that instance and prevent the launching of the app more than once? I use a LAUNCHER.EXE that runs the APP.EXE si my launcher will be looking for a running APP.EXE and just activate that app before launcher.exe kills itself. TIA.

Hi Mark,

I think this is not the answer of what you looking for and I could be wrong here <*g*>.

AFAIK, there is no Windows Messages that will let you know that a particular app is already running. Even if there a message that tells you the name of the app, do you know that the apps is your app ? Still, you have to do some more checking I guess :)

Regards
Herman
