There maybe has been talk of Carter not being a good president. But the worse ever, no. With Nixon, even though there was an obvious grab for power, I don't recall hearing anyone talk about that grab for power occurring with an obvious detrimental effect to the county.

bush has succeeded in causing the reputation of the US to suffer for who knows how long. Hopefully, it is as some international statesman have said and it is bush who has attracted the rath of the international community and not the US as a whole.
