VFP works very good with other MS products with VFP5.0
as you can now create activex server

Access engine (JET) gets some of its technology from VFP
but it is still implemented better in the original
also VFP is OO and Acees is not

VFP will be part of the developer studio (like VB,VC++, VJ++)
Access won't be

VFP is faster and is positioned against Delphi and Powerbuilder

btw how many Internet sites using access as a backend do you know ? :)
