OK, the week isn't over yet, we still have MNF, but a few random thoughts...

- Jeremy Shockey is right, the Giants were outcoached. They were also outplayed. Seattle won the opening coin toss, and elected to slap the bejeezus out of the Giants.

- Do the Detroit Lions get paid to play? If, so, why???

- The Raiders defense looked REALLY REALLY GOOD this week. Come to think of it, KC didn't surrender any points either.

- OK, Craig, I admit it, Denver is really good. But so are Indy and Cincy.

- Rex Grossman sucked for 3 quarters, but picked it up in the 4th qtr and they won. He's reminding me of Mr. Favre.

- And oh yeah, Brett won a game, finally. Will he just RETIRE, for crying out loud.

- The Ravens don't look much more exciting than last year, but they're 3-0. I can't wait to see them play Cincy and the Steelers.

- Speaking of the Steelers - they're 1-2. Which means they have the league right where they want them. It's really sad that one of the best coaches in football is in a city with the most obnoxious fans. Then again, the same could be said about Parcells.

- I watched most of the Carolina game - even with a win, as a team they look more like pretenders. But they have 2 awesome players in Smith, Peppers, and one hell of a kicker.

- Even with a loss, look out for Minnesota.

- The Matt Leinart watch is on in Arizona.

- The Jets made history. Until today, no road team had ever surrended 300 yards passing and 150 yards rushing and still won the game. It wasn't because the Jets are that good, they certainly aren't - the Bills just really really suck.

- Is it me, or is it fun to watch the Titans fall further and further? I hope the Texans beat the Titans.

- When the Eagles actually beat a real team without T.O., I'll give them credit.

- Finally, everyone hold good thoughts for Chris Simms. And then join him in his class-action suit against Chucky and the Tampa offensive line. Simms is a decent QB, but this team blows chunks right now. You know you're in bad shape when President Bush comes to visit your team and tells you not to give up.
