Hi,

Looking at the ADVISOR GUIDE to MICROSOFT VISUAL FOXPRO web page, got to the article "Add Toast to Your Visual FoxPro Applications" by Mike Lewis (http://msvfp.advisorguide.com/doc/17953):

"One of the more interesting new user interface ideas to emerge in recent months is a type of pop-up message called a toast. Essentially, it's a small window, designed to alert the user to some condition or event, or simply to display a useful piece of information. Just like a slice of bread emerging from a toaster, the message pops up from the bottom of the screen. It stays visible for a few moments, then quietly slides out of sight. This article shows you how to add toast to your applications."

Unfortunatelly I'm no longer a subscriber to that magazine and to read the entire article you must be a subscriber.

Could it be possible for someone to tell some more about the "toast message"? (if it not hurts the copyright of Mike Lewis on his article, of course - think that there must be others sources for that information).
