Thanks for your reply. It was indeed a dangling reference, but very hard to get rid off.

I think it's business object. When I invoked thisform.Destroy() prior to return .f., the form is removed from forms collection.

I'm not sure how to track down what is exactly wrong with BO and why they prevent form from releasing properly.
