>Bush declassifies selective parts of a document. Democrats ask for a closed session of congress to review classified intelligence analysis on global terrorism. Republicans vote no.
Given that parts of the previously-classified report had already been leaked it, I think that was prudent on Congress's part.
>Is it politics on the part of the democrats or just the usual republican rubber stamp for the president? If our representatives do not know the content of the document what should we think? Should we even care? To some the administration cannot do wrong. To others, well that is up to you. Ignorance is bliss.

http://cbs5.com/national/topstories_story_269132022.htmlPersonally I think it is politics on the part of the Democrats. They are trying to reverse the ain't-got-no-stragety argument on the GOP. But now that it has been declassified (parts of it, anyway) we can all make up our own minds.
