I agree with you. I think that he, TO, not having a medical backgroung must have been confused. They probably told him to take a couple of pills if he feels any pains. He did, but the pain didn't go away. So he kept taking more "couple" of pills. I bet they forgot to tell him to give medication time to work <g>.
