Iran *IS* a signatory of the nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty.

Howvwer, I still agree with you based on past history of other nations, signatory or not, that verification is a MUST.
Canada got burned after we sold Candu reactors to India with "iron-clad" guarantees that no by-products would be used for the creation of nuclear weapons.

But, with tough verification in place, I feel that the Iranians have the right to have nuclear power generation.
