Ok this is strange. I have an application the uses a couple of form that open a fair quantity of tables. 12 - 15 depending on the form, some of these are also views.

Here is the thing that is confusing me, the form was loading very slowly 15 seconds. I decided to try opening the data tables in the init method using code "Use xxx" instead of the dataenvironment. Well, to my surpise the form now only takes 5 seconds to load. Can anyone tell me why that is?

I have also had a problem with the report printing slow so I decided to try the same approach. Now it does not print the report. I get end of file errors when attempting to print out of the open view, even though it the record pointer is on the first record.
