Actually in baseball this season the playoff teams are pretty evenly divided between having big payrolls, medium payrolls, and low payrolls. The Twins, A's, and I think Padres are in the last group. Meanwhile, some big spenders like the Red Sox, Orioles, Cubs, and White Sox will be watching on TV.
