Launch Outlook before Automating Word with VFP or don't use Word as your email editor in Outlook.

If you automate Word from VFP and then launch Outlook, Outlook will use the exisitng instance of Word to display and create emails. If you launch Outlook and then instantiate Word from VFP, a new instance of Word will be created.

Look in your Task Manager for WINWORD.EXE and you will see what I mean.
