Title:
VFP 7.0 Grid on Scrolling Form Bug
I have a grid on a scrolling form in a VFP 7.0 App. The grid is not visible until the form is scrolled down. Then when the user clicks on the grid VFP invariably scrolls back to the top of the form, and the grid is inaccessible.
A couple of years ago I hit this, gave up and switched to a listbox and that handled it. Now the government form has changed and I MUST use a grid with custom controls in each row. The listbox is out.
We do not want to upgrade several thousand users to VFP 9.0, which I just tested and the grid works fine on the 9.0 form. We will be moving to .Net, so don't want to reinstall thousands of 9.0 runtimes on workstations just for this.
Does anyone know of a workaround in this for VFP 7.0? I have been clutzing around with SETVIEWPORT, etc. but nothing very elegant yet. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.
This is a rough one. Any help, sample code, etc would be appreciated. Again, I must use a grid and must use 7.0 if possible.
Thanks in advance!
