Hi

I import an HTML file into Excel. Fine - no truncation.

However, the XLS needs to be processed by an old FPD2.6 system, so I save as an XLS 3, so the old system recognises it.
The data are then processed into a DBF.

It's just been noticed that a fair slice of the data have been lopped off, to 16384 rows.

I suspect thet Excel 3 has a max file size limitation, of c. 16K rows or something like that. Is this the case? I haven't a copy thereof to check.

Secondly, any ideas on how to get round this? (I saved to Excel 3 as a precaution, as FPD2.6 won't recognise 97 as I have on board) How recent can I go with Excel versions?

'ppreciate it.
