- The Lions are winless because of transition. The Titans are winless because of free agency and QB issues. Tampa is winless because of a bad start. But Oakland is winless because they just plain suck.
- Arizona Cardinals....new stadium, same old problems. KC should blow them out next week.
- Mark this date on your calendar...November 26th, when the Bears travel to New England to play the Pats. I'm not saying they have a 'soft' schedule, but if they can win that game, they could make the '72 Dolphins sweat.
- For the 2nd week in a row, the Ravens offense looked terrible for 3 quarters, but got it done with they had to. But over the next month and a half, they have to play Denver, Carolina, the Saints, the Bengals, Atlanta, and the Steelers.
- I love seeing San Diego lose....why? Because Marty S. is the most overrated coach in the NFL.
- Yes, I am a KC fan. And yes, a 41-0 over SF isn't exactly a major accomplishment. But their defense looked ominously reborn yesterday. And did anyone watching the game notice that the announcer kept referring to Trent Green as Trent Dilfer? One has a great arm, a respected team leader, and one of the top QBs in the AFC....and the other has a ring.
- Kudos to the league for suspending Albert Haynesworth for five games. Not even his coach will defend him for that one.
- As much as I hate to admit it, Dallas looks pretty good. Has anyone noticed how QUIET Parcells has been so far?
- The Giants defense is improving - no points surrendered in the first half yesterday. Oh, wait, they didn't play.
- The Jets and Bills are both 2-2. Yet one team prays for their QB's health, and the other, well, doesn't.
- It kills me to hear these announcers talk about 'passing of the guard' games between the hawks-bears and patriots-bengals. It's week 4, for crying out loud. Next thing you know, politicians will be over-blowing a story about one of their own and a teenage boy. Oh, wait....
- And finally, Green Bay. Remember, Brett Favre said that this was the most talented teams he's been on. Has Brett been hitting the bottle again?
- Everyone thought the Fish would catch the Pats. Sure, it's only week 4, but Bill Belichick didn't get to be the best coach in the NFL for nothing. They looked just as good yesterday as they did in their Super Bowl years.
- If David Carr could play on a decent team, he'd be an All-Pro.
