hi,
thank you,
i try as under, but i need to see all images without choice becuse every image have anumber, i give evry picture number (serial number)
IF !EOF()
   thisform.text1.value=thisform.text1.value+1
   thisform.text2.value=nam
   local lcImageFile
*** lcImageFile = "images\"+alltrim(str(thisform.text1.value)) +(".jpg")+(".GIF")
 lcImageFile=getpict()
if file(lcImageFile)
   ThisForm.Image1.Picture = lcImageFile
  SKIP
else
   MessageBox("The picture doesn't exist - filename: " + lcFileName)
  skip -1
endif
ENDIF
thanks

>My point is that with your code .. "images\"+alltrim(str(thisform.text1.value))+(".GIF") +(".jpg") .. you specify a file as .. .value))+(".GIF") +(".jpg") which will result in xxx.GIF.JPG where xx = ....value.

>But if I understand your problem correctly, I would rather use ...picture=getpict()
