I am sure that WalMart would prefer manufacturing being within the United States, if the workers would accept the same wages and benefits as their Chinese counterparts. After all, then transportation costs would be less to transport goods since no shipping cost across the Pacific would be involved, thus incurring an additional savings with the potential of increased profits. :)
