That I wouldn't be able to tell. At the time I moved from 1.1 to 2.0, I was in the early stage of the framework and everything in regards to it for the two products I am working on since two years on. So far, I haven't been able to find another environment like this in production. There are certainly. But, I would be curious to know if they have those weird situations on an occasional basis and/if they have a high volume server.
>I guess to really nail down the VFPOLEDB issues you'd have to send your entire test suite to someone else, either MS or elsewhere. Since you're an MVP maybe MS would listen. But it might be tough for them to duplicate unless your environment runs on something like Virtual Server VMs.
The only think that would need to be adjusted for such simulation would be the tables. Those, I cannot send them as is and would have to create temporary tables.

Yes, but two things: the first one is that I really do not have any money to go with the licencing dilemna of SQL Server. This is way too much for me and I just can't afford that. Secondly, I would need weeks to be ready to accomodate such infrastructure as it would imply changing the way the indexation works, the backup at midnight, stress testing, learning curve and a lot more things that I just can't afford presently.
My only change is a miracle presently assuming someone could come up with a solution like this:
"Hey, have you ever thought of checking that setting: Avoid VFPOleDB provider to return unexplained errors on an occasional basis if you have a high traffic Web site and if you are tired and extremely frustrated of having wasting two weeks of your time trying to figure out why this is happening?"
Then, yes, that would be something I guess.
