>>>Salted yes. I would even sprinkle vinegar and olive oil. But "drowned" in vinegar?.
>>>Vinegar taste is so strong that you’ll be drunk w/it before you get the taste of the fries.
>>>Besides, the wont be crispy anymore. Would it?

>>Jim's the one who wants the crispy fries. When I was a kid, I used to go down to Sunnyside Beach here in Toronto, and on the boardwalk, there were chip stands. They gave real fries in a paper cone wrapped in wrapping paper to make the cone much larger. By the time you finished the fries and drank the vinegar, walking along the boardwalk, you'd just be hitting the next chip stand.

>Oh, memories of childhood. Who can argue against?
>My mom used to make us homemade alioli (mayonnaise with a ton garlic paste) and homemade fries.
>I have to be careful now when I pig out with the alioli. I can loose some friends.

Will have to try that, with garlic mayo (always willing to be edumicated, like I was in adopting the Low Countries' mayo on them, instead of ketchup) :-)

Sometimes I do a marbling of mayo AND ketchup (at the end you therefore get them in 1000 islands sauce) :-)
