>>>>>>>Salted yes. I would even sprinkle vinegar and olive oil. But "drowned" in vinegar?.
>>>>>>>Vinegar taste is so strong that you’ll be drunk w/it before you get the taste of the fries.
>>>>>>>Besides, the wont be crispy anymore. Would it?

>>>>>>Jim's the one who wants the crispy fries. When I was a kid, I used to go down to Sunnyside Beach here in Toronto, and on the boardwalk, there were chip stands. They gave real fries in a paper cone wrapped in wrapping paper to make the cone much larger. By the time you finished the fries and drank the vinegar, walking along the boardwalk, you'd just be hitting the next chip stand.

>>>>>Oh, memories of childhood. Who can argue against?
>>>>>My mom used to make us homemade alioli (mayonnaise with a ton garlic paste) and homemade fries.
>>>>>I have to be careful now when I pig out with the alioli. I can loose some friends.

>>>>I think it's actually called aioli (crossword puzzles), and do you know, I've never tasted it. Personally, I'm not a big mayonnaise fan. Kraft puts out a product called "Miracle Whip", which is a salad dressing that looks and acts like mayonnaise. I've always used it instead. I love it and I guess because of it, I never developed much of a taste for mayonnaise. Interestingly, I've never used Miracle Whip as a salad dressing, but for egg salad or tuna sandwiches, it can't be beat.

>>>Tuna-mayo, with millions of black pepper mixed in, in a brown granary bread sandwich - to die!
>>
>>Never tried it with black pepper. I'll have to give it a shot. I generally use chopped green onion (sometimes chopped regular onion). I've even tried it with chopped pickle, and it's not bad. But again, never mayo for me. Miracle Whip adds a nice bit of tang that mayo just doesn't have.

>>>I can't eat a sandwich without mayo now (except a chip butty). Salad cream always seemd a bit hoi poloi for me :-)
>>
>>Dear God. Please don't tell me you put mayo on a smoked meat, corned beef or pastrami sandwich! ;)
>
>I put mayo on about everything. :) One sidenote however, there is mayonaise and Mayonaise. I use Mayonaise.

Three in a row. Now I'm getting depressed. I thought all I had to worry about was global warming, people carrying guns, and maybe a war or two. But now THIS. This is really too much. What is the world coming to. ;)
