I said I'm not using WE for anything - my choice is TotalCommander (www.ghisler.com is where it can be found). It has pretty much the same functionality as the Frigate, plus the command line. My daughters use Opus, which is also great, but I miss the command line and the unspecified viewer - in TC, I just press F3 on a file and it shows up in the best-guess format, that I can switch at will.

It's the desktop, toolbar and start menu that are run by explorer.exe.
