I have a Visual Foxpro application that I just started to maintain, and the project when complied is giving errors such as Unknown POTPOURRI_CHECK_HOW_FILE_CAN_BE_OPENED - Undefined. This is a reference in one of the program. I know this is due to the .dll files, but I am not sure how to fix this. There are .dll files located in a bin subdirectory, with the .dll file named potpourri_01.dll. The program I believe is pointing at this directory that the .dll file is in, but I am not certain.
The programs do seem to work with the .dll call in them, but for some reason the project seems to generate errors. I can try to provide more information if needed.
Do I need to register the .dll file in the registry on my PC? How would I do this.
I am open to suggestions, I have never dealt with .dll files in Visual Foxpro, so please excuse my ignorance any good web or print references on .dll files on foxpro would be appreciated.
