I think it's a commentary on our times that there is such high interest in wizardry, spirituality, and the supernatural (which of course includes most religions). Maybe today's world, the one we move about in, leaves us feeling undernourished compared to what our forebears felt.


>I found something new this summer. If you like Harry Potter, there is a more adult series that is very similar. "The Dressden Files" by Jim Butcher. The main protaganist is Harry Dressden. A Chicago private investigator who also happens to be a wizard.
