I have found that the best is to simply remove the database from SQL Server and simply create it before running the package again. Otherwise, the package cannot run if some data is part of the database.

I also found that empty date values in VFP causes the package to stop importing the data as soon as found. So, other than to replace all empty values with the 1899 date value, would it there be a way to adjust the package so it would be smart enough and would know how to deal with it?
