I doubt Rush converts many people. That he is preaching to the choir is practically the DNA of his show. I would say the same of Al Franken's show, so that comment is not directed against the right wing. What does surprise me -- concern me? -- is that Rush taps into a popping nerve of Americans who are affluent and privileged, well off by any measure, and yet manage to think of themselves as victims. Huh?
