>>>Tuna-mayo, with millions of black pepper mixed in, in a brown granary bread sandwich - to die!
>>
>>Never tried it with black pepper. I'll have to give it a shot. I generally use chopped green onion (sometimes chopped regular onion). I've even tried it with chopped pickle, and it's not bad. But again, never mayo for me. Miracle Whip adds a nice bit of tang that mayo just doesn't have.

>>>I can't eat a sandwich without mayo now (except a chip butty). Salad cream always seemd a bit hoi poloi for me :-)

>>Dear God. Please don't tell me you put mayo on a smoked meat, corned beef or pastrami sandwich! ;)

>Strangely, I never eat any of those. The old "pastrami on rye" cliche from every US cop show is more of a N American thing than here. Don't like "corned dog" much.

I was off yesterday (Thurs) but would you believe it, after saying the above, I got home on Wed and and there was an (extremely rare occurence) pastrami sandwich waiting for me (we had to rush out to a parents' meeting). It was on baguette though, and with mayo.

But - {Twilight Zone music} or what?
- Whoever said that women are the weaker sex never tried to wrest the bedclothes off one in the middle of the night
- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
