hi,
i am facing a problem.

i have a long running code( runs 1 time) that takes about 30 mins to complete. but while the code is running the screen becomes unresposive. E.g. If i open Internet explorer or any other window , and minimise the open window the appliction goes white but infact it is still processing. I have wait windows present which updates at very regular intervals but sometimes that even is not refreshed. How can i over come this problem ?

i tried writing to the form by putting a label and updating its caption -- no use
Put a timer to refresh the form like _screen.activeform.refresh for interval 2 secs - no use

any ideas ?
