As far as I know, the basic options you have out of the box in VS2005 are the "go to definition" context menu item and the object browser (available from the View menu).
An invaluable tool any .NET developer should consider to use is Reflector, from Lutz Roeder. It is free and is available at
http://www.aisto.com/roeder/dotnet/.
As you mention VB.NET as your language in this message, I really don't know if there are better options available for what you need, since my experience is almost exclusively with C#.
