Wow, that's a sad story...

My sister and I had once tried to plan a vacation to our parents as kind of a "thank you for life". We couldn't really decide on the locations, as my dad would like to go to Canada fishing, and my mom would rather stay around home and just not do housework for a week. We never did come to a conclusion. Turns out they had talked together about getting away on an extended camping vacation south and east. Kind of surprised both of us, as we never thought that would be the type of vacation they would choose...
