I checked a few things:
When running the application and does have to get info from the IMDB.com, the taskbar is not seen at that point. So, screen=off seem to work.
It's only seen when it's exiting the app in the taskbar for a .2 seconds. This could be launch for another full screen application(third party) in a batch mode and could display the taskbar for every movie it want to create a .MIS.
