- We still have 4 winless teams - Titans, Lions, Tampa, and the Raiders. The first three are at least competitive in their losses, while the Raiders just plain suck. The Raiders new motto is "We won't win, and they can't stop us"

- I hope Arizona's Antrel Rolle gets a stiff fine for almost breaking the neck of KC's Larry Johnson. If you haven't seen it, it was one of the scariest face-mask penalties in a long time. And speaking of KC, they were down 14-0, had a negative turnover ratio, and Larry Johnson had his worst game as a pro....and yet they won. Herm Edwards is making this team tough.

- It's official - the Bears are just plain NASTY. Buffalo might not be a juggernaut, but they were 2-2 and played the Patriots tough a few weeks ago. The Bears are past the point of people saying, 'well, they haven't played anybody yet'. When you b-slap 4 teams and win a close game on the road against a division rival, you're officially good.

- Still a bit early to tell if the Eagles are strong again, but upcoming games against the Saints, Colts, Panthers, and Jax will tell us something. Donovan McNabb is red-hot. T.O. is a loser. And is it me, or does Parcells seem a little too laid back this year?

- Baltimore looked like last year's offense tonight. With each passing game, McNair looks MORE rusty. They need to figure their offense out.

- And for that matter, so does Denver. But Denver may have the fastest defensive unit in the NFL.

- Watching Phillip Rivers complete passes is like watching a MLB pitcher with a 70 MPH changeup strike out batters - the guy throws these soft, lofty passes, ones that will seemingly get picked off every time....and yet the receivers grab them first. But somewhere along the line, Marty will find a way to screw his QB over.

- So, the Steelers are now 1-3. I hope they get well - the week AFTER this weekend when KC comes to town. Big Ben looks really bad right now.

- Has anyone noticed that the Rams are 4-1? They look pretty good....but it's easy to win when Mr. Favre does what he did in the last minute yesterday.

- Carolina is healthy again, and Mr. Peppers is scary. Even though there's a great story going on in New Orleans, it looks like the Panthers will win the NFC South.

- Would the Fish still be 1-4 had they gone with Joey Harrington all the way? The Dolphins are just finding out NOW that Culpepper has mobility issues??? This team won 5 straight at the end of last year, with little in the way of a passing game.

- Will the real Jacksonville Jags please stand up???

- NEVER declare that the new coach of a 2-2 team is "doing a great job"....before you know it, his team will lose 41-0.

- Someone...I forget who it was...observed last week that I neglected to mention the Redskins. Well, they had 164 yards of total offense on Sunday against the Giants. Anything else you'd like me to say?

- And finally, I heard that many are drawing comparisons between this year's Raider team and the '72 Dolphins. They say, 'those Dolphins were really good....these Raiders totally suck'.

- OK, one more Raider joke....you know that age-old debate of whether the best college team could beat the worst NFL team? Well, rumor has it that the Ohio State Buckeyes would rather play the 2nd worst NFL team - they feel that beating the Raiders doesn't prove much.
