>Thanks Rip. Do you mean the SQL Server Reporting Services ?
Microsoft reports are closely related to SQL Server Reporting Services but MS Reports don't require SQL Server. I've never used Reporting services but as I userstand it, it is a way to have SQL Server attach data to your report definition file for you. I believe the report files in this case are ".rdc" files. But you can use the technology without SQL Server by using an ".rdlc" file and attaching data to the file in code.
It's really a great new feature set in VS.Net 2005 but has not been marketed very well as the focus seems to be on Reporting Services.
