Subject: Handling files on a PC

A Possible translation (Hopefully someone will correct any errors on my part):

I'm writing to all of you on this occasion in order to share with you a situation and to see if between everyone/anyone interested we can determine the best solution to this problem.

I have a web system which due to limitations in the 'channel of communications' cannot stop that the files JS and CSS travel across the channel but then they are stored in a specific directory and when the page is loaded it alludes to the directory to load the functions JS and the styles. (this paragraph I did not quite understand - I think he means that when his page loads it references where JS should be but is not because JS is out of date)

The problem with this is that users do not have the directory created and so the application does not work as it should and we developers cannot determine if the JS is modified and do not have any means of notifying the user that he/she needs to update JS on the workstation.

One idea is to construct a function that verifies the existence of the directoy and if it does not exist or JS is out of date, display a message to the user to contact the system administrator to update JS or even better send the update files automatically. Then, if the files do not exist, unload the page or update it.

This may be somewhat complicated, but I believe that MSFT can do it (or it could be done) with Windows Update, yes or no?

Thank you my friends!
