I was somewhat more fortunate. The bullet hit the ground beside me. Scared the 'you know what' out of me though. The ranger tracked the hunter down and turned him in. He was only one out of hundreds though...

They would shoot at anything that moved and when I was 15 I guess I looked too much like an Elk because one almost shot me. It was two or three years later Denver and Dallas made it to the SuperBowl.
