>My programs are giving a variety of errors when run on a new 2.8ghz Dual Core processor PC. Selects into tables sometimes fail with an access denied error. Is there a setting somewhere that forces Fox to finish disk writes before moving on to the next command?

I've not run into Dual Core issues yet except for problems with high speed timing (partially documented by MS). IAC you can configure your vfp process to run on a specific core manually (right click in taskmanager) and programmatically. I haven't wrapped the WINAPI calls yet, if you go that route, post them so I can save some testing <g>
