BTW you can instead VS IDE and create a win32 console application. Anything (ie: Hello world). I use command prompt approach because I find that to be the fastest way of testing little snippets (couldn't yet learn new VS2005 IDE features). Maybe doing from IDE it would work - then I would be puzzled more:)
