I haven't faced the problem myself, because we designed new reports in VFP9. I don't think you have to make the fields really big for the whole format, but I may be mistaken. For now just try to expand fields just a little bit and see, if they work.

Otherwise you may need to run with REPORTBEHAVIOR 8.0 :(
