I did the same way with EXE file, you're right. But what about access to data, when I am a developer and also a power user. If I limit my access to READ only level from Visual Foxpro, I would need a FULL aceesss as a power user.
Is it anyway I can dynamically change my access level?
What else can be done?

>Build the EXE is part of development. You should build. When you're ready to release an EXE, move it to a staging area...just a folder that temporarily holds the EXE. Email somone in production that a new executable is ready and have them move it to production.
