>>>Critics welcome.

>>I completed it, but I have to say there were a couple that I'm not sure I really understand. for example, 'inane' for 'proving unintelligent design'. Is that a crossword definition, or a personal viewpoint espousal? Not that I disagree, but is it really a definition?

>One thing I learned to love about American style definition is that they don't have to be that serious, or else the visitors get bored pretty soon.

>With this one I realized I didn't have a good definition, but it was a bit too late, so I made do with, well, what you saw.

>>Now this is a little picky, I know, but 'and' is a conjunction. A conjunction connector? You mean something that connects two or more conjunctions?
>
>Conjunction is a way to put two statements together: A and B is a conjunction, "and" is just the operator between A and B that makes that particular thing a conjunction. I.e. I used the Boolean algebra instead of grammar. A stretch, I admit.

>>Overall though, not bad at all. Took me longer than I expected, I must admit. I suppose because it's been so long since I read Dune, and I needed to fill in a number of letters in the Dune clue answers in order to jog my memory.

>Next one should be VFP related... aLanguage() function is the best way to get a list of cute short words :).

>OK... here it is: http://ndragan.com/ukr/vfp_func_1.html and few of other clues are also Fox related, or at least should be familiar to regular UT... frequenters.

I have a question about 17 down - 'COAXES'? I'd have bet the farm on 'HOAXES', but of course that would have made 16 across into nonsense. Coaxes? I am unfamiliar with that term in that vein. Coaxes is correct?
