That was a major rewrite of the entire report engine. I can imagine that there are people out there that actually depend on this VFP container clipping to continue to work as it currently does.

In your case the other recommendation from Carlos to use another container (or shape for that matter) to provide your visible border is a trivial solution to the problem you are having. I do think I'd implement this with a borderless clipping container and a separate visible shape for the border. The container class can dynamically add the shape to the form at runtime so that you don't have to worry about an additional level of containership, or have the headaches of an additional object to size/position in the the designer.
