>I need an API call to check the System Date and Time on another computer over a network. I have a client with an Extremely Unstable NT network. They want to pull Date and Time from one specific computer (has UPS) to place a date/time stamp all on new/edited records. We can run the net program, but it is DOS based and I feel there had to be an API call which does the same thing.

Fred,
I don't know if this will answer your question or not, but here goes. The API has two functions that return the current time. One of those returns the local current time, the other the current UTC (Universal Coordinated Time) time. If they're of interest, let me know.
Further, I don't know what impact the file server has on these functions.
