I did the install. I now have VFP 9.0 SP2. I checked the file information and I could see that it has been updated. The new version is from October 11, 2006. As there isn't an install separately for that one, I had to copy the file manually to the server to replace the old one. The file has the same number of bytes as the old one. So, my guess is that they only updated the time stamp. I did the test however. It generates as much errors as the other file.
