>>>What amazes me is that Turkey will not officially acknowledge what happened even 90 years after the fact. Talk about denial!
>>
>>Turkish government proposed make a committee with formed -only- historians and investigate if it's a genocide or not. Turkey proposed open ottomans archives for that investigate (that's interesting ottomans archives worlds most independed archives, because ottomans historians were independed from sultans).
>>
>>But armenians didn't accepted that. They want to add politicians to that committee. Our government believe in if there are politicans in that committee, can't talk about neutrality.

>It isn't even worth mentioning what the Turkish government says given that historians around the world are in agreement about what happened to Armenians during WW I.

So you have close connections in that world of historians? I don't believe you. You are only repeating what you did read in your local or national newspaper. I have read other articles, interviews with other such historians. It simply isn't true that all acknowledgable historians agree. Consequently, I think the Turkish government has a point.

>Your government is apparently doing a pretty good spin job on home soil. Nothing personal, Metin, but maybe it's time to seek more unbiased sources.

>Please don't take offense. All I'm saying is think for yourself.

If there’s no willingness to moderate for the sake of good debate, then I have no willingness to debate at all.
Let's develop superb standards that will end the holy wars.
