Yes, I've used C previously to solve some time-heavy statistical problems...Now I have some important vfp tables involved, though, so it will require many changes to convert it.
But also, I can find out where the real time problems occur using vfp, then I can decide if C will be beneficial...If I find that some processing will take an estimated 6 months of vfp runtime, then I can figure that C won't help enough, and go back to the theoretical drawing board. However, if I estimate just a week of vfp runtime, then it's worth looking at C to reduce it by a few days, perhaps...(as a rough example).
