>>I agree that Denver has an awesome defense. One of the fastest and most athletic defenses I've ever seen. But obviously you can't evaluate a defense just based on points.

>>The Bears defense was on it's heels during the first half - but they forced turnovers and won the game in the second half. I think the Bears secondary is a 'bit' soft, but their front 7 is just incredible.

>Who is this Urlacher? Does he always play this way? He looks like Baby Huey, but man he can play.
Nothing new. He has been in the league 7 years and to the Pro Bowl every year but one. Last season he was Defensive Player of the Year.
He also seems like a really decent guy. When the Bears drafted him (in fairly unheralded fashion -- he was a late first round choice out of New Mexico or someplace like that, where he played strong safety, not linebacker) he got his signing bonus and one of the first things he did was buy a top of the line pickup truck. He drove it out to where his mom and her second husband live. Urlacher's father was one of those who was gone from the family early and everyone says he always treated his stepfather like his real father. The guy says, "Wow, nice truck, Brian." "I bought it for you," Urlacher said, flipping him the keys. He doesn't seem like someone who totally changes once they get some money and/or fame.
