Just on the news today here the Monty Python's "Spamalot" has just opened in London after a very successful, multi-million run in the US. I've been wondering why all the MP retros have been on the telly here lately, and docus, esp. re: Spamalot.
Well, talk about living off your old fame! What with tins of spam on stage, with knights of the Round Table, whilst also singing "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life". I felt quite sickened by it all - very little novel. Mind you, Idle's never been my fave Python, or his songs.
