It's also important to consider the source. <g>
I was in Vegas last week and picked up tickets to see Liza Minnelli in concert. Had a great time, felt thoroughly entertained. When I told a friend (who considers herself a huge Minnelli fan) about it she ARGUED with me. "It couldn't have been any good!" she said.
Huh? I was the one who was there! LOL
>It's always necessary to weigh others opinions on these things. I've seen lots of movies, plays, TV shows, etc that got great reviews but I didn't like. I've also seen the opposite, shows that got panned, but I greatly enjoyed. My advice is to see Spamalot and decide for yourself.

>>It would have to be emphasis on the HUGE to enjoy it, I guess :-)
>>Personally I never go by anyone's reviews. We were once recommended a play near home, and the word "hillarious" was bandied about. Not even the corner of my mouth curled up in a smirk THE WHOLE PLAY. There was only ONE funny moment, and that involved the worst profanity in reference to kids., as in "All kids are ..." (alliteration).
