For Turkey there are two possibility:
1- The firm is so big and there are a lot of candidates. They don't want spend so much time with candidates in first pass, because of crowded. This is a bad news. Because you would a good candidate but they possibility hardly reveal that because of crowded.
2- They don't think you as a good candidate. This's not important. Because you don't like they too. :)
Some human resource personals asked me foolish questions in interviews. One favorit question is of their "Tell me your three bad characteristic".
Don't think about so much...
