>>>Sara, my daughter, is 16 this month. She went to bed at 9:00 pm. This morning I wondered if she was old enough to hear about the game. That was the most brutal loss I've ever seen. The pain--the heartache, the total historic meltdown!

>>Look on the bright side. Sure, it was a tough loss for the Cardinals, who clearly have a problem hanging onto leads. But I think they opened some eyes, too. They have a lot of good players, especially on defense, and I think Leinart is for real. They didn't look like a 1-5 team to me.

>Yes, Leinart will be good. Too bad he plays for the Cardinals. Wonder if he'll ever get out of there and come to the Cowboys, only then he will be great. :)

I see the smiley but Arizona might be the perfect place for him. My overwhelming impression from the Monday night game, apart from how sucky the Bears are still capable of being on offense, is that the Cards are a team on the rise. Leinart did not look anything like the jittery rookie most Bears fans were expecting. Getting drafted as low as he did -- only considered the 10th best player, oh my! -- seems to have inspired him.

Who do you like in the Cowboys-Giants game next week? I see the Cowboys winning with T.O. in a starring role.
