When doing a conversion... I (in the past) would copy the original code to a backup directory and leave THAT untouched. Then, in VFP9, I would modify the project and do a full rebuild... Let IT recompile code, classes, etc. Sometimes it may be the code within a sub-class is what's holding up the form to load. 9 might not properly recognize the old 6 compiled version of stuff.
